سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ایسے مینڈھے کی قربانی کی جو سینگ دار نر تھا، اس کا منہ اور پیر کالے تھے، اور آنکھیں بھی کالی تھیں ( یعنی چتکبرا تھا ) ۔

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sacrificed a horned, defectless ram with a black stomach, black feet and black around its eyes.”

میں صحابی رسول ابوسعید زرقی رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ قربانی کے جانور خریدنے گیا، تو آپ نے ایک ایسے مینڈھے کی نشاندہی کی جس کی ٹھوڑی اور کانوں میں کچھ سیاہی تھی، اور وہ جسمانی طور پر نہ زیادہ بلند تھا، نہ ہی زیادہ پست، انہوں نے مجھ سے کہا: میرے لیے اسے خرید لو، شاید انہوں نے اس جانور کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہعلیہ وسلم کے مینڈھے کے مشابہ سمجھا ۱؎۔

Yunus bin Maisarah bin Halbas said: “I went out with Abu Sa’eed Az- Zuraqi, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), to buy animals or sacrifice.” Yunus said: “Abu Sa’eed pointed to a ram that had some blackness around its ears and jaw, and was neither too big nor too small, and said to me: ‘Buy this one for them, as it seems to resemble the ram of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بہترین کفن جوڑا ( تہبند اور چادر ) ہے، اور بہترین قربانی سینگ دار مینڈھا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Umamah Al-Bahili that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best of shrouds is a two piece Najrani garment and the best of sacrifices is a horned ram.”
