سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک پیالا لایا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کے اطراف سے کھاؤ، اور اس کی چوٹی یعنی درمیان کو چھوڑ دو کہ اس میں برکت ہوتی ہے ۔

‘Abdullah bin Busr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought a bowl (of food). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Eat from the sides and leave the top, so that it may be blessed.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ثرید کے اونچے حصہ پر ہاتھ رکھا، اور فرمایا: بسم اللہ کہہ کر اس کے اطراف سے کھاؤ، اور اس کے اونچے حصہ کو چھوڑ دو، اس لیے کہ برکت اس کے اوپر والے حصے سے ہی آتی ہے ۔

It was narrated that Wathilah bin Asqa’ Al-Laithi said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took hold of the top of the Tharid and said: ‘Eat in the Name of Allah from its sides and leave the top, for the blessing comes from its top.’”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب کھانا رکھ دیا جائے تو اس کے کنارے سے لو، اور درمیان کو چھوڑ دو، اس لیے کہ برکت اس کے درمیان میں نازل ہوتی ہے ۔

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When food is served, take from the sides and leave the middle, for the blessing descends in the middle.”
