سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا کہ لوگ کھانا اٹھائے جانے سے پہلے اٹھ جائیں۔

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade standing up before the food had been cleared away.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب دستر خوان لگا دیا جائے تو کوئی شخص اس کے اٹھائے جانے سے پہلے نہ اٹھے، اور نہ ہی اپنا ہاتھ کھینچے گرچہ وہ آسودہ ہو چکا ہو جب تک کہ دوسرے لوگ بھی کھانے سے فارغ نہ ہو جائیں، ( اور اگر ایسا کرنا ضروری ہو ) تو عذر پیش کر دے، اس لیے کہ آدمی اپنے ساتھی سے شرماتا ہے تو اپنا ہاتھ کھینچ لیتا ہے اور ہو سکتا ہے کہ ابھی اس کو کھانے کی حاجت ہو ۔

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When a meal is served, a man should not stand up until it is removed, and he should not take his hand away, even if he is full, until the people have finished. And let him continue eating.* For a man may make his companion shy, causing him to withhold his hand, and perhaps he has a need for the food.”
