It was narrated that Ibn Mas’ud said: “A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ), so he spoke to him, and he started to tremble with awe. He said to him: ‘Take it easy. I am not a king; I am just a man whose mother ate dried meat.’”
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “We used to store trotters and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would eat them fifteen days after the sacrifice.”
