سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کھمبی «منّ» میں سے ہے، اور اس کے پانی میں آنکھوں کا علاج، اور عجوہ ( کھجور ) جنت کا میوہ ہے اور اس میں پاگل پن اور دیوانگی کا علاج ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Sa`eed and Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Truffles are a type of manna, and their water is a healing for eye (diseases). And the `Ajwah* are from Paradise, and they are healing for possession.”** Another chain from Abu Sa`eed from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کھمبی «من» میں سے ہے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے بنی اسرائیل پر نازل فرمایا تھا، اور اس کے پانی میں آنکھوں کا علاج ہے ۱؎۔

‘Amr bin Huraith said: “I heard Sa’eed bin Zaid bin ‘Amr bin Nufail narrating from the Prophet (ﷺ) that: ‘Truffles are a type of manna that Allah sent down to the Children of Israel, and their water is a healing for eye (diseases).’”

ہم لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس گفتگو کر رہے تھے کہ کھمبی کا ذکر آ گیا، تو لوگوں نے کہا: وہ تو زمین کی چیچک ہے، یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک پہنچی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کھمبی «منّ» میں سے ہے، اور عجوہ کھجور جنت کا پھل ہے، اور اس میں زہر سے شفاء ہے ۔

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “We used to narrate from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and mention truffles, and they said: ‘(It is) the smallpox of the earth.’ When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was told of what they were saying: he said: ‘Truffles are a type of manna, and the Ajwah are from Paradise, and they are a healing from poison.’”

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: عجوہ کھجور اور صخرہ یعنی بیت المقدس کا پتھر جنت کی چیزیں ہیں ۔ عبدالرحمٰن بن مہدی کہتے ہیں: لفظ «صخرہ» میں نے ان کے منہ سے سن کر یاد کیا ہے۔

Rafi’ bin ‘Amr Al-Muzani said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Ajwah and the rock* are from Paradise.’”
