سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم لوگ اپنے اوپر «اثمد» ۲؎ کو لازم کر لو، اس لیے کہ وہ بینائی تیز کرتا ہے اور بال اگاتا ہے ۔

Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should use antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: سوتے وقت اثمد کا سرمہ ضرور لگاؤ، کیونکہ اس سے نظر ( نگاہ ) تیز ہوتی ہے اور بال اگتے ہیں ۔

It was narrated that Jabir said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘You should use antimony when you go to sleep, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سب سے بہتر سرمہ اثمد کا ہے، وہ نظر ( بینائی ) تیز کرتا، اور بالوں کو اگاتا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best of your kohl is antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.”
