سنن ابن ماجہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص سرمہ لگائے تو طاق لگائے، اگر ایسا کرے گا تو بہتر ہو گا، اور اگر نہ کیا تو حرج کی بات نہیں ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever applies kohl, let him do it an odd number of times. Whoever does that has done well, and whoever does not, it does not matter.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہوسلمہ کے پاس ایک سرمہ دانی تھی، آپ اس میں سے ہر آنکھ میں تین بار سرمہ لگاتے۔

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) had a kohl container from which he would apply kohl three times, to each eye.”
