سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے مسجد میں پیٹ کے بل ( اوندھے منہ ) سویا ہوا پایا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے پاؤں سے مجھے ہلا کر فرمایا: تم اس طرح کیوں سو رہے ہو؟ یہ سونا اللہ کو ناپسند ہے ۔

It was narrated from Qais bin Tihfah Al-Ghifari that his father said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) found me sleeping in the masjid on my stomach. He nudged me with his foot and said: 'Why are you sleeping like this? This is a kind of sleep that Allah dislikes,' or 'that Allah hates.'

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس سے گزرے اس حال میں کہ میں پیٹ کے بل لیٹا ہوا تھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اپنے پیر سے ہلا کر فرمایا: «جنيدب»! ( یہ ابوذر کا نام ہے ) سونے کا یہ انداز تو جہنمیوں کا ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: The Prophet(ﷺ) passed by me and I was lying on my stomach. He nudged me with his foot and said: 'O Junaidib! This is how the people of Hell lie.'

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا گزر ایک ایسے شخص کے پاس ہوا جو اوندھے منہ مسجد میں سو رہا تھا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کو پیر سے ہلا کر فرمایا: اٹھ کر بیٹھو، اس طرح سونا جہنمیوں کا سونا ہے ۔

It was narrated that Abu Umamah said: The Prophet(ﷺ) passed by a man who was sleeping in the masjid, lying on his face. He struck him with his foot and said: 'Get up' or; 'Sit up, fo this is a hellish kind of sleep.'
