رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بیشک کچھ شعر حکمت و دانائی پر مبنی ہوتے ہیں ۔

It was narrated from Ubbay bin Ka'b that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: In some poetry there is wisdom.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمایا کرتے تھے: بعض اشعار میں حکمت و دانائی کی باتیں ہوتی ہیں ۔

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: In some poetry there is wisdom.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سب سے زیادہ سچی بات جو کسی شاعر نے کہی ہے وہ لبید ( شاعر ) کا یہ شعر ہے «ألا كل شيء ما خلا الله باطل» سن لو! اللہ کے علاوہ ساری چیزیں فانی ہیں اور قریب تھا کہ امیہ بن ابی صلت مسلمان ہو جائے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: The truest of wods spoken by the poet are the words of Labid: Everything except Allah is false.' And Abu Umayyah bin Abu Salt nearly accepted Islam.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے امیہ بن ابی صلت کے سو اشعار پڑھے، آپ ہر شعر کے بعد فرماتے جاتے: اور پڑھو ، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قریب تھا کہ وہ مسلمان ہو جائے ۔

It was narrated from Amr bin Sharid that his father said: I recited one hundered verses of the poetry of Umayyah bin Abu Salt to the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ), and after every line he said, More . And he said: He nearly accepted Islam.
