سنن ابن ماجہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کلمات کے ذریعہ دعا کیا کرتے تھے: «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من فتنة النار وعذاب النار ومن فتنة القبر وعذاب القبر ومن شر فتنة الغنى وشر فتنة الفقر ومن شر فتنة المسيح الدجال اللهم اغسل خطاياي بماء الثلج والبرد ونق قلبي من الخطايا كما نقيت الثوب الأبيض من الدنس وباعد بيني وبين خطاياي كما باعدت بين المشرق والمغرب اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والمأثم والمغرم» اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جہنم کے فتنہ اور جہنم کے عذاب سے، اور قبر کے فتنہ اور اس کے عذاب سے، اور مالداری و فقیری کے فتنے کی برائی سے، اور مسیح الدجال کے فتنے کی برائی سے، اے اللہ! میرے گناہوں کو برف اور اولے کے پانی سے دھو ڈال، اور میرے دل کو گناہوں سے پاک و صاف کر دے، جس طرح تو نے سفید کپڑے کو میل کچیل سے پاک و صاف کیا ہے، اور میرے اور میرے گناہوں کے درمیان دوری کر دے جس طرح تو نے پورب اور پچھم کے درمیان دوری کی ہے، اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں سستی، بڑھاپے، گناہ اور قرض سے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the : Prophet (saas) would supplicate with these words: Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min fitnatin-nari wa 'adhabin-nar, wa min fitnatil-qabri wa 'adhabil-qabr, wa min sharri fitnatil-ghina wa min sharri fitnatil-faqr, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal. Allahumma aghsil khatayaya bima'ith-thalfi wal-barad, wa naqqi qalbi minal-khataya kama naqqaytath-thawbal-abyad minad-danas. Wa ba'id bayni wa bayna khatayaya kama ba'adta baynal-mashriqi wal-maghrib. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali wal-harami wal-ma'thami wal-maghrami (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the tribulation of the Fire and the torment of the Fire, and from the tribulation of the grave, and from the evil of the tribulation of richness and the evil of the tribulation of poverty, and from the evil of the trial of the False Christ. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from sin as a white garment is cleansed from filth, and put a great distance between me and my sins, as great as the distance You have made between the east and the west. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness and old age, and from sins and debt).

میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے سوال کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کون سی دعا کیا کرتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا: آپ کہتے تھے: «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من شر ما عملت ومن شر ما لم أعمل» اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ان کاموں کی برائی سے جو میں نے کئے اور ان کاموں کی برائی سے جو میں نے نہیں کئے ۔

It was narrated that Farwah bin Nawfal said: I asked 'Aishah about a supplication that the Messenger of Allah (saas) used to say. She said that he used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu, wa min sharri ma lam a'mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of that which I have done and the evil of that which I have not done).'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جیسے قرآن کی سورت سکھاتے اسی طرح یہ دعا بھی ہمیں سکھاتے تھے: «اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب جهنم وأعوذ بك من عذاب القبر وأعوذ بك من فتنة المسيح الدجال وأعوذ بك من فتنة المحيا والممات» اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جہنم کے عذاب سے، اور میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں قبر کے عذاب سے، اور میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں مسیح دجال کے فتنہ سے، اور میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں زندگی اور موت کے فتنہ سے ۔

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (saas) used to teach us this supplication just as he would teach us a Surah from the Qur'an: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabi jahannam, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-masihil-dajjal, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the torment of Hell, and I seek refuge with You from the torment of the grave, and I see refuge with you from the tribulation of False Christ, and I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death).'

میں نے ایک رات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بستر پر موجود نہ پایا تو میں آپ کو ڈھونڈھنے لگی ( مکان میں اندھیرا تھا ) تو میرا ہاتھ آپ کے قدموں کے تلووں پر جا پڑا، دونوں پاؤں کھڑے تھے اور آپ ( حالت سجدہ میں ) یہ دعا کر رہے تھے: «اللهم إني أعوذ برضاك من سخطك وبمعافاتك من عقوبتك وأعوذ بك منك لا أحصي ثناء عليك أنت كما أثنيت على نفسك» اے اللہ! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں تیری رضا مندی کی تیری ناراضگی سے، اور تیری عافیت کی تیری سزا سے، اور میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں تیرے عذاب سے، میں تیری تعریف کما حقہ نہیں کر سکتا، تو ویسے ہی ہے جیسے تو نے خود اپنی تعریف فرمائی ہے ۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I noticed that the Messenger of Allah (saas) was missing from his bed one night, so I went looking for him, and my hand touched the soles of his feet; he was in the Masjid with his feet upright (prostrating), and he was saying: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu biridaka min sakhatika wa bimu'afatika 'an 'uqubatika, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsi thana'an 'alayka, Anta kama athnayta 'ala nafsika (O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You enough; You are as You have praised Yourself).'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم اللہ سے فقیری، مال کی کمی، ذلت، ظلم کرنے اور ظلم کئے جانے سے پناہ مانگو ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that : the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: Seek refuge with Allah from poverty, insufficiency and humiliation, and from wronging (others) and being wronged.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس علم کا سوال کرو جو فائدہ پہنچائے، اور اس علم سے پناہ مانگو جو فائدہ نہ پہنچائے ۔

It was narrated from Jabir that : the Messenger of Allah said: Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بزدلی، بخیلی، ارذل عمر ( انتہائی بڑھاپا ) ، قبر کے عذاب اور دل کے فتنہ سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔ وکیع نے کہا: دل کا فتنہ یہ ہے کہ آدمی برے اعتقاد پر مر جائے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کے بارے میں توبہ و استغفار نہ کرے

It was narrated from 'Umar that the : Prophet saas used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave and the tribulation of the heart. (Da'if)(One of the narrators) Waki' said: Meaning when a man dies in a state of tribulation (Fitnah) and does not ask Allah to forgive him.
