سنن ابن ماجہ

ایک آدمی وضو کر کے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور اس نے ناخن کی مقدار خشک جگہ چھوڑ دی تھی، جہاں پانی نہیں پہنچا تھا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا: جاؤ دوبارہ اچھی طرح وضو کرو ۔

It was narrated from Anas that: A man came to the Prophet; he had performed ablution and has missed a spot the size of a fingernail where water had not reached. The Prophet said to him: 'Go back and perform ablution properly.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا، جس نے وضو کیا اور اپنے پاؤں پر ناخن برابر جگہ خشک چھوڑ دی، تو آپ نے اسے وضو اور نماز دونوں کو دوہرانے کا حکم دیا، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: اس نے دوبارہ وضو کیا، اور نماز پڑھی۔

It was narrated that 'Umar bin Khattab said: The Messenger of Allah saw a man performing ablution and he missed a spot the size of a fingernail on his foot. He commanded him to repeat the ablution and his prayer, so he did.
