رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ خندق کے دن فرمایا: اللہ ان کافروں کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے، جیسے کہ ان لوگوں نے ہمیں نماز وسطیٰ ( عصر کی نماز ) کی ادائیگی سے باز رکھا ۔

It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that,: On the Day of Khandaq, the Messenger of Allah said: May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire, just as they distracted us from the middle prayer.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص کی نماز عصر فوت ہو جائے، گویا اس کے اہل و عیال اور مال و اسباب سب لٹ گئے ۔

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that: The Messenger of Allah said: The one who misses the 'Asr prayer, it is as if he has been cheated out of his family and wealth.

مشرکوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو عصر کی نماز سے روکے رکھا یہاں تک کہ سورج ڈوب گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان لوگوں نے ہمیں عصر کی نماز سے روکے رکھا، اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے ۔

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: The idolaters kept the Prophet from the 'Asr prayer until the sun had set. He said: 'They kept us from performing the middle prayer; may Allah fill their graves and their houses with fire.'
