سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء دیر سے پڑھنا پسند فرماتے تھے، اور اس سے پہلے سونے اور اس کے بعد بات چیت کرنے کو ناپسند کرتے تھے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Abu Barzah Al-Aslami said: The Messenger of Allah used to like to delay the 'Isha', and he disliked sleeping before it, and engaging in conversation after it.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء سے پہلے نہ سوئے، اور نہ اس کے بعد ( بلا ضرورت ) بات چیت کی ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah did not sleep before the 'Isha' nor stay up (talking) after it.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء کے بعد بات چیت پر ہماری مذمت فرمائی یعنی اس پر ہمیں جھڑکا اور ڈانٹا ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah rebuked us for staying up (talking) after the 'Isha'.
