سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اچھی طرح وضو کیا، پھر جمعہ کے لیے آیا اور امام سے قریب بیٹھ کر خاموشی سے خطبہ سنا، اس کے اس جمعہ سے دوسرے جمعہ تک کے اور مزید تین دن کے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے، اور جس نے کنکریوں کو ہاتھ لگایا اس نے لغو حرکت کی ۔

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever performs ablution and performs ablution well, then comes to Friday (prayer) and sits near (the Imam), and keeps quiet and listens, he will be forgiven for what was between that and the previous Friday (of sins), and three days more. And whoever touches the pebbles then he has engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).”

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے جمعہ کے دن وضو کیا تو یہ بڑی اچھی بات ہے، اس سے فریضہ ادا ہو جائے گا، اور جس نے غسل کیا تو غسل زیادہ بہتر ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever performs ablution on Friday, it is well and good for him, and he has done what is obligatory for him. But whoever takes a bath, bath is better.”
