سنن ابن ماجہ

مجھے ناسور ۱؎ کی بیماری تھی، تو میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نماز کے متعلق پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو، اگر کھڑے ہونے کی طاقت نہ ہو تو بیٹھ کر پڑھو، اور اگر بیٹھنے کی بھی طاقت نہ ہو تو پہلو کے بل لیٹ کر پڑھو ۔

It was narrated that ‘Imran bin Husain said: “I suffered from Nasur* and I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about prayer. He said: ‘Perform prayer standing; if you cannot, then sitting; and if you cannot then while lying on your side.’”

میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ نے دائیں پہلو پر بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھی، اس وقت آپ بیمار تھے۔

It was narrated that Wa’il bin Hujr said: “I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing prayer while sitting on his right side when he was sick.”
