سنن ابن ماجہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تین سفید یمنی کپڑوں میں کفنایا گیا، جس میں کرتہ اور عمامہ نہ تھا، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا گیا کہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دھاری دار چادر میں کفنایا گیا تھا؟ تو عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: لوگ دھاری دار چادر لائے تھے مگر انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس میں نہیں کفنایا ۱؎۔

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) was shrouded in three white Yemeni cloths, among which there was no shirt and no turban. It was said to ‘Aishah: “They used to claim that he was shrouded in Hibarah.” ‘Aishah said: “They brought a Hibarah Burd, but they did not shroud him in it.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سحول کے بنے ہوئے تین باریک سفید کپڑوں میں کفنائے گئے۔

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was shrouded in three thin white Suhuli cloths.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تین کپڑوں میں کفنائے گئے، ایک اپنی قمیص میں جس میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وفات پائی تھی، اور دوسرے نجرانی ۱؎ جوڑے میں۔

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was shrouded in three garments: The shirt in which he died, and a Najrani Hullah.
