رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک عورت کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی جو زچگی میں مر گئی تھی ۱؎، تو آپ اس کے بیچ میں کھڑے ہوئے۔

It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab Al-Fazari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer for a woman who had died in Nifas,* and he stood level with her middle (i.e. her waist).”

میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے ایک آدمی کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی تو اس کے سر کے سامنے کھڑے ہوئے، پھر ایک دوسرا جنازہ ایک عورت کا لایا گیا، تو لوگوں نے کہا: اے ابوحمزہ! اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائیے، تو وہ چارپائی کے بیچ میں کھڑے ہوئے، تو ان سے علاء بن زیاد نے کہا: اے ابوحمزہ! کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسی طرح مرد اور عورت کے جنازے میں کھڑے ہوتے ہوئے دیکھا، جس طرح آپ کھڑے ہوئے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، پھر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور بولے: سب لوگ یاد کر لو۔

It was narrated that Abu Ghalib said: “I saw Anas bin Malik offering the funeral prayer for a man, and he stood level with his head. Then another funeral was brought, that of a woman, and they said: ‘O Abu Hamzah! Offer the funeral prayer for her.’ So he stood level with the middle of the bed (the body was upon). ‘Ala’ bin Ziyad said to him: ‘O Abu Hamzah! Is this how you saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) standing in relation to the body of a man and a woman as you have stood?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ Then he turned to us and said: ‘Remember this.’”
