سنن ابن ماجہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عید کے دونوں مہینے رمضان اور ذی الحجہ کم نہیں ہوتے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that from ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Two months of ‘Eid whose reward cannot be reduced (even if they are twenty-nine days): ‘Ramaadan and Dhul-Hijjah.”

رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عید الفطر وہ دن ہے جس میں تم لوگ روزہ توڑ دیتے ہو، اور عید الاضحی وہ دن ہے جس میں تم لوگ قربانی کرتے ہو ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Al-Fitr is the day when you break your fast and Al-Adha is the day when you offer sacrifices.”
