سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایام بیض کے روزہ کے رکھنے کا حکم دیتے تھے یعنی تیرہویں، چودہویں، اور پندرہویں تاریخ کے روزے کا، اور فرماتے: یہ ہمیشہ روزہ رکھنے کے مثل ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from ‘Abdul-Malik bin Minhal, from his father that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to enjoin fasting the bright days – the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth (when the moon is full). He said: “It is like fasting for a lifetime.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے ہر مہینہ تین دن روزہ رکھا تو گویا اس نے ہمیشہ روزہ رکھا اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی کتاب میں اس کی تصدیق نازل فرمائی: «من جاء بالحسنة فله عشر أمثالها» ( جو کوئی ایک نیکی کرے اس کو ویسی دس نیکیاں ملیں گی ) تو ایک روزے کے دس روزے ہوئے۔

It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever fasts three days in every month, that is fasting for a lifetime.” Then, in testimony of that, Allah revealed: “Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten time the like thereof to his credit.” [6:160] So one day is equivalent to ten (in reward).

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر مہینہ میں تین دن روزہ رکھتے تھے، معاذہ عدویہ کہتی ہیں: میں نے پوچھا: کون سے تین دنوں میں؟ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پروا نہیں کرتے تھے جو بھی تین دن ہوں ۔

It was narrated from Mu’adhah Al-‘Adawiyyah that ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast three days of each month.” I said: “Which were they?” She said: “He did not care which days they were.”
