سنن ابن ماجہ

میں ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آیا تو ان کو کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب پاخانہ سے نکلتے تو کہتے:«غفرانك» یعنی: اے اللہ! میں تیری بخشش چاہتا ہوں ۔

Yusuf bin Abi Burdah narrated: I heard my father say: 'I entered upon 'Aishah, and I heard her say: When the Messenger of Allah exited the toilet, he would say: Ghufranaka (I seek Your forgiveness).' (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب پاخانہ سے نکلتے تو فرماتے: «الحمد لله الذي أذهب عني الأذى وعافاني» یعنی: تمام تعریف اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے مجھ سے تکلیف دور کی، اور مجھے عافیت بخشی ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: Whenever the Prophet exited the toilet, he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahilladhi adhhaba 'annial-adha wa 'afani (Praise is to Allah Who has relieved me of impurity and given me good health).'
