رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں یمن بھیجا اور فرمایا: ( زکاۃ میں ) غلہ میں سے غلہ، بکریوں میں سے بکری، اونٹوں میں سے اونٹ، اور گایوں میں سے گائے لو ۔

Mu'adh bin Jabal narrated that: the Messenger of Allah sent him to Yemen and said to him: “Take grains from grains, sheep from sheep, camels from camels and cows from cows”

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان پانچ چیزوں میں زکاۃ مقرر کی ہے: گیہوں، جو، کھجور، انگور اور مکئی میں

It was narrated from Amr bin: Shu'aib, form his father, that his grandfather said: “The Messenger of Allah only prescribed Zakat on these five things: wheat, barley, dates, raisins and corn.”
