سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی پیشاب کرے تو اپنی شرمگاہ اپنے داہنے ہاتھ سے نہ چھوئے، اور نہ اپنے داہنے ہاتھ سے استنجاء کرے ۱؎۔

Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah said: My father told me that he heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'When anyone of you urinates, let him not touch his penis with his right hand nor clean himself with his right hand.' Another chain with similar wording.

میں نے عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا: جب سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے میں نے اس ہاتھ کے ذریعہ بیعت کی نہ تو میں نے گانا گایا، اور نہ جھوٹ بولا، اور نہ اپنی شرمگاہ کو داہنے ہاتھ سے چھوا ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Uqbah bin Suhban said: I heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan say: 'I never sang a song or told a lie or touched my penis with my right hand after I swore on oath of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah to that effect.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب کوئی شخص استنجاء کرے تو داہنے ہاتھ سے نہ کرے، بلکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے کرے ۔

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you cleans himself, he should not clean himself with his right hand. Let him clean himself with his left hand.'
