سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اسلام کے سوا کسی اور دین میں چلے جانے کی جھوٹی قسم جان بوجھ کر کھائی، تو وہ ویسے ہی ہو گا جیسا اس نے کہا ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever takes an oath to follow a religion other than Islam, telling a deliberate lie, he will be as he said.'

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ اگر میں ایسا کروں تو یہودی ہوں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس پر یہ قسم واجب ہو گئی ۔

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man say: If that happens, I will be a Jew. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'That is guaranteed.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص کہے اگر ایسا کروں تو اسلام سے بری ہوں، اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو ویسا ہی ہے جیسا اس نے کہا، اور اگر وہ اپنی بات میں سچا ہے تو بھی اسلام کی جانب صحیح سالم سے نہیں لوٹے گا ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father told that : the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever says: 'I have nothing to do with Islam,' if he is lying then he is as he said, and if he is telling the truth, his Islam will not be sound.
