سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے نذر مانی، اور اس کی تعیین نہ کی تو اس کا کفارہ قسم کا کفارہ ہے ۔

It was narrated from 'Uqbah bin 'Amit Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے نذر مانی اور اس کی تعیین نہ کی، تو اس کا کفارہ قسم کا کفارہ ہے، اور جس نے ایسی نذر مانی جس کے پورا کرنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا تو اس کا کفارہ قسم کا کفارہ ہے، اور جس نے ایسی نذر مانی جس کے پورا کرنے کی طاقت ہو تو اس کو پورا کرے ۔

lt was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is not able to fulfill it, the expiation for that is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is able to fulfill it, let him do so.
