سنن ابن ماجہ

میں اور مخرفہ عبدی رضی اللہ عنہ دونوں ہجر سے کپڑا لائے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے، آپ نے ہم سے پاجاموں کا مول بھاؤ کیا، ہمارے پاس ایک تولنے والا تھا جو اجرت لے کر تولتا تھا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا: او تولنے والے! تولو اور پلڑا جھکا کر تولو ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Suwaid bin Qais said: Makhrafah Al' Abdi and I brought linens from Hajar[1] The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us to bargain with us with some trousers. There was someone with me who weighed (the goods) in exchange for a wage. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said to the one weighing: 'Weigh and add more.'

میں نے مالک ابوصفوان بن عمیرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا کہ ہجرت سے پہلے میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ ایک پاجامہ بیچا، آپ نے مجھے قیمت تول کر دی، اور جھکا کر دی ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Simak bin Harb said: I heard Malik Abu Safwan bin 'Umairah, say: 'I bought a pair of trousers from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) before the Hijrah, and he weighed it for me and allowed more. '

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تولو تو جھکا کر تولو ۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When you weigh, allow more.
