سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس مسلمان کے پاس وصیت کرنے کے قابل کوئی چیز ہو، اسے یہ حق نہیں ہے کہ وہ دو راتیں بھی اس حال میں گزارے کہ اس کی وصیت اس کے پاس لکھی ہوئی نہ ہو ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim man has no right to spend two nights, if he has something for which a will should be made, without having a written will with him.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: محروم وہ ہے جو وصیت کرنے سے محروم رہے ۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The one who is deprived is the one who is deprived of a will.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص وصیت کر کے مرا، وہ راہ ( راہ راست ) پر اور سنت کے مطابق مرا، نیز پرہیزگاری اور شہادت پر اس کا خاتمہ ہوا، اس کی مغفرت ہو گی ۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever dies leaving a will, he dies on the right path and Sunnah, and he dies with piety and witness, and he dies forgiven.”

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مسلمان کے لیے یہ بات مناسب نہیں کہ وہ دو راتیں بھی اس طرح گزارے کہ اس کی وصیت لکھی ہوئی اس کے پاس نہ ہو، جب کہ اس کے پاس وصیت کرنے کے لائق کوئی چیز ہو ۔

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim man has no right to spend two nights, if he has something for which will should be made, without having a written will with him.”
