رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ شخص ہم میں سے نہیں ۱؎ جو منہ پیٹے، گریباں پھاڑے، اور جاہلیت کی پکار پکارے ( یعنی نوحہ کرے ) ۔ یہ الفاظ علی بن خشرم کے ہیں، اور حسن کی روایت «بدعا الجاہلیۃ» کی جگہ «بدعویٰ الجاہلیۃ» ہے۔
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah said: 'He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, rends his garment, calls out the calls of the Jahiliyyah. '
