میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”سفر میں روزہ رکھنا نیکی نہیں ہے“۔

It was narrated that Kab bin 'Asim said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say; 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling. '

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سفر میں روزہ رکھنا نیکی نہیں ہے“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: یہ غلط ہے، صحیح روایت وہ ہے جو پہلے گزری ہے۔ ہم نہیں جانتے کہ کسی نے اس پر ابن محمد بن کثیر کی متابعت کی ہے۔

It was narrated that Saeed bin Al-Musayyab said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling. ' (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake, and what is correct is the one that is before it. We do not know of anyone who followed up Ibn Kathir.
