سنن نسائ

اللہ عزوجل نے جو نازل فرمایا اس میں یہ ( حارث کی روایت میں قرآن میں جو نازل ہوا اس میں تھا ) «عشر رضعات معلومات يحرمن» ( دس ( واضح ) معلوم گھونٹ نکاح کو حرام کر دیں گے ) ، پھر یہ دس گھونٹ منسوخ کر کے پانچ معلوم گھونٹ کر دیا گیا ( یعنی خمس رضعات معلومات ) ۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا انتقال ہو گیا، اور یہ آیت قرآن میں پڑھی جاتی رہی ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: One of the things that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed -(one of the narrators) Al-Harith said (in his narration): One of the things that were revealed in the Qur'an - was that ten known breast-feedings make marriage prohibited, then that was abrogated and changed to five known breast-feedings. Then the Messenger of Allah passed away when this was something that was still being recited in the Qur'an.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے رضاعت ( یعنی دودھ پلانے ) کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”ایک بار اور دو بار کا پلانا ( نکاح کو ) حرام نہیں کرتا“۔ قتادہ اپنی روایت میں «الإملاجة ولا الإملاجتان‏» کی جگہ «المصة والمصتان» کہتے ہیں، یعنی ”ایک بار یا دو بار چھاتی کا چوسنا نکاح کو حرام نہ کرے گا“۔

It was narrated from Umm Fadl that the Prophet of Allah was asked about breast-feeding and said: Suckling (Al-Imlajah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited. And (one of the narrators) Qatadah said (in his narration): Suckling (Al-Massah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ایک بار اور دو بار چھاتی کا چوسنا حرمت کو ثابت نہیں کرتا“۔

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair that the Prophet said: Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ایک بار اور دو بار چھاتی کا چوسنا ( نکاح کو ) حرام نہیں کرتا ۱؎“۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited.'

ہم نے ابراہیم بن یزید نخعی کے پاس ( خط ) لکھ کر رضاعت کا مسئلہ پوچھا تو انہوں نے ( جواب میں ) لکھا کہ مجھ سے شریح نے بیان کیا ہے کہ علی اور ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ دونوں کہتے تھے کہ دودھ تھوڑا پئے یا زیادہ رضاعت سے حرمت ( نکاح ) ثابت ہو جائے گی، اور ان کی کتاب ( تحریر ) میں یہ بھی لکھا ہوا تھا کہ ابوالشعثاء محاربی نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے حدیث بیان کیا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: ”ایک بار یا دو بار اچک لینے ( یعنی ایک یا دو گھونٹ پی لینے ) سے نکاح کی حرمت قائم نہیں ہوتی“ ۱؎۔

Sa'eed narrated from Qatadah: We wrote to Ibrahim bin Yazid An-Nakha'i asking him about breast-feeding. He wrote back saying that Shuraih had narrated that 'Ali and Ibn Mas'ud used to say: 'A little or a lot of breast-feeding makes marriage prohibited.' In his book, it said that Abu Ash-Sha'tha' Al-Muharibi narrated that 'Aishah had told him that the Prophet of Allah used to say: Suckling (Al-Khatfah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس تشریف لائے ( اس وقت ) میرے پاس ایک شخص بیٹھا ہوا تھا یہ آپ پر بڑا گراں گزرا، میں نے آپ کے چہرہ مبارک پر ناراضگی دیکھی تو کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ شخص میرا رضاعی بھائی ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”اچھی طرح دیکھ بھال لیا کرو کہ تمہارے رضاعی بھائی کون ہیں، کیونکہ دودھ پینے کا اعتبار بھوک میں ( جبکہ دودھ ہی غذا ہو ) ہے“

It was narrated that Masruq said: Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah entered upon me and there was a man sitting with me. He got upset about that, and I saw the anger in his face.' I said: O Messenger of Allah, he is my brother through breast-feeding. He said: Be careful who you count as your brothers --or: be careful who you count as your brothers through breast-feeding -- for the breast-feeding (which makes marriage prohibited) is from hunger.
