رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب ایک مسلمان اپنے دوسرے مسلمان بھائی پر ہتھیار اٹھائے ( اور دونوں جھگڑنے کے ارادے سے ہوں ) تو وہ دونوں جہنم کے کنارے پر ہیں، جب ایک دوسرے کو قتل کرے گا تو دونوں ہی اس میں جا گریں گے“ ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'If a Muslim points a weapon at his fellow Muslim, then they are on the brink of Hell, and if he kills him, then they will both fall into it.'

جب دو مسلمان آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے خلاف ہتھیار اٹھا لیں تو وہ دونوں جہنم کے کنارے پر ہیں، پھر جب ان میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کرے گا تو وہ دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے۔

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: If two Muslim men bear weapons against each other, then they are both on the brink of Hell. And if one of them kills the other, they will both be in Hell.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ آمنے سامنے ہوں اور ان میں ایک دوسرے کو قتل کر دے تو وہ دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“، عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ تو قاتل ہے، لیکن مقتول کا قصور کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس نے اپنے ( مقابل ) ساتھی کو مارنا چاہا تھا“۔

It was narrated from Abu Musa that: The Prophet [SAW] said: If two Muslims confront each other with swords, and one kills the other, they will both be in Hell. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed? He said: He wanted to kill his companion.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان تلواروں کے ساتھ آمنے سامنے ہوں، پھر ان میں سے ایک اپنے ساتھی کو قتل کر دے تو وہ دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“۔

It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari that: The Prophet [SAW] said: If two Muslims confront each other with swords and one of them kills the other, they will both be in Hell.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ آمنے سامنے ہوں، ان میں سے ہر ایک دوسرے کو قتل کرنا چاہتا ہو، تو وہ دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“۔ آپ سے عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ تو قاتل ہے لیکن مقتول کا کیا معاملہ ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”وہ بھی تو اپنے ساتھی کے قتل کا حریص اور خواہشمند تھا“۔

It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that : The Prophet [SAW] said: If two Muslims confront each other with swords, each of them wanting to kill the other, they will both be in Hell. It was said to him: O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed? He said: He was determined to kill his companion.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ بھڑ جائیں پھر ان میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کر دے تو قاتل و مقتول دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“۔

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: The Messenger [SAW] said: 'If two Muslims meet (and fight) with their swords and one of them kills the other, the killer and the slain will both be in Hell.'

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ آمنے سامنے ہوں پھر ان میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کر دے تو قاتل اور مقتول دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“، انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ تو قاتل ہے آخر مقتول کا کیا معاملہ ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس نے بھی اپنے ساتھی کے قتل کا ارادہ کیا تھا“۔

It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'If two Muslims confront each other with their swords and one of them kills the other, both the killer and the slain will be in Hell.' They said: O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed? He said: He wanted to kill his companion.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ بھڑ جائیں پھر ان میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کر دے تو قاتل اور مقتول دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“۔

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں کے ساتھ آمنے سامنے ہوں پھر ان میں سے ایک دوسرے کو قتل کر دے تو قاتل اور مقتول دونوں جہنم میں ہوں گے“، ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ تو قاتل ہے لیکن مقتول کا کیا معاملہ ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس نے بھی اپنے ساتھی کے قتل کا ارادہ کیا تھا“۔

It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari that : The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: If two Muslims confront each other with swords and one of them kills the other, then the killer and the slain will both be in Hell. A man said: O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed? He said: He wanted to kill his companion.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا ۱؎ کہ تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی گردن مارنے لگو“۔

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that : The Prophet [SAW] said: Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another).

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم لوگ میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی گردن مارنے لگو، آدمی کو نہ اس کے باپ کے گناہ کی وجہ سے پکڑا جائے گا اور نہ ہی اس کے بھائی کے گناہ کی وجہ سے“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: یہ غلط ہے ( کہ یہ متصل ہے ) صحیح یہ ہے کہ یہ مرسل ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or for the sins of his brother.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارو، کوئی شخص اپنے باپ کے گناہ کی وجہ سے نہ پکڑا جائے گا اور نہ ہی اس کے بھائی کے گناہ کی وجہ سے“۔

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or the sins of his brother.'

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں تمہیں اس طرح نہ پاؤں کہ تم میرے بعد کافر ہو جاؤ کہ تم ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارو، آدمی سے نہ اس کے باپ کے جرم و گناہ کا مواخذہ ہو گا اور نہ ہی اس کے بھائی کے جرم و گناہ کا“۔ یہی صحیح ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Masruq said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'I do not want to see you after I am gone reverting to disbelievers, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is punished for the crime of his father, or the crime of his brother.' This is correct.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا“۔ ( یہ حدیث ) مرسل ہے۔

It was narrated from Masruq that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone. It is Mursal.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارنے لگو“۔

It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that: The Prophet [SAW] said: Do not revert to misguidance after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another).

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجۃالوداع میں لوگوں کو خاموش کیا اور فرمایا: ”میرے بعد تم کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ تم ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارنے لگو“۔

It was narrated from Jarir that : During the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Messenger of Allah [SAW] asked the people to be quiet and listen, and said: Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another).

مجھ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”لوگوں سے خاموش رہنے کو کہو“، پھر فرمایا: ”اس کے بعد جب میں تمہیں دیکھوں ( قیامت کے روز ) تو ایسا نہ پاؤں کہ تم کافر ہو جاؤ اور ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارو“۔

It was narrated that Jarir bin 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: 'Ask the people to be quiet and listen.' Then he said: 'I do not want to see you after I am gone reverting to disbelievers, striking the necks of one another (killing one another).'
