میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ تمہارے ساتھ کون ہے؟“ اس نے کہا: یہ میرا بیٹا ہے، میں اس کی گواہی دیتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تمہارا قصور اس پر نہیں اور اس کا قصور تم پر نہیں“ ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Abu Rimthah said; I came to the Prophet with my father and he said: 'Who is this with you?' He said:' my son, I bear witness (that he is my son). He said: 'You cannot be affected by his sin or he by yours.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انصار کے کچھ لوگوں کو خطاب کر رہے تھے، لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی ثعلبہ بن یربوع کے بیٹے ہیں، انہوں نے فلاں کو جاہلیت میں قتل کیا تھا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اور آپ کی آواز بہت بلند تھی: سنو! کسی جان کا قصور کسی دوسری جان پر نہیں ہو گا“۔

It was narrated that Tha'labah bin Zahdam said: some people from Banu Tha'labah came to the Prophet when he was delivering a speech and a man said; O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' who killed so and so' - one of the Companions of the Prophet The Prophet said: No soul is affected by the sin of another.

بنی ثعلبہ کے لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پہنچے، آپ خطبہ دے رہے تھے، ایک شخص بولا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ ثعلبہ بن یربوع کے بیٹے ہیں، انہوں نے صحابہ رسول میں سے فلاں کو جاہلیت میں قتل کیا تھا۔ تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کسی نفس کا قصور کسی دوسرے پر نہیں ہو گا“۔

It was narrated that Tha'1abah bin Zahdam said: Some people from Banu Tha'labah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was delivering a speech and a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' who killed so and so' - one of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'No soul is affected by the sin of another. '

بنی ثعلبہ کے کچھ لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے۔ ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی ثعلبہ بن یربوع ہیں، انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابہ میں سے فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، آپ نے فرمایا: ”کسی نفس کا قصور کسی دوسرے نفس پر نہیں ہو گا“۔

It was narrated that Ash'ath bin Abi Ash-Sha'tha, said: I heard Al-Aswad bin Hilal narrate from a man of Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' that some people from Banu Tah'labah came to the Prophet and a man said: O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu'who killed so and so' - a man from among the companions of the Prophet. The Prophet said: 'No soul is affected by the sin of another

بنو ثعلبہ کے کچھ لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابہ میں سے ایک شخص کو ہلاک کر دیا تھا۔ تو ایک صحابی رسول نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی ثعلبہ ہیں، جنہوں نے فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کسی نفس کا قصور کسی دوسرے پر نہیں ہو گا“۔ شعبہ کہتے ہیں: یعنی کسی کے بدلے کسی اور سے مواخذہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ واللہ اعلم۔

It was narrated from Al-Aswad bin Hilal - who met the Prophet - from a man from Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu, that: some people from Banu Tha'labah killed a man from among the companions of the Messenger of Allah. A man from among the companions of the Messenger of the Allah said: O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so. The Messenger said: No soul is affected by the sin of another. Shu'bah (one of the narrators) said: That means: No soul is responsible for the sin of anothe4r, and Allah knows best.

میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، آپ گفتگو فرما رہے تھے۔ ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی ثعلبہ بن یربوع ہیں جنہوں نے فلاں کو قتل کیا ہے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہیں، یعنی کسی کا قصور کسی پر نہیں ہو گا“۔

It was narrated from Al-Ash'ath bin sulaim, from his father that a man from among Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' said: I came to the Prophet when he was speaking, and a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' who killed so and so.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'No,' meaning no soul is affected by the sin of another.

ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، آپ لوگوں سے گفتگو فرما رہے تھے، کچھ لوگوں نے آپ کے سامنے کھڑے ہو کر کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنی فلاں ہیں جنہوں نے فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”کسی نفس پر کسی کا قصور نہیں ہو گا“۔

It was narrated from Ash'ath, from his father that a man from among Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' said: We came to the Messenger of Allah when he was speaking to the people, and some people stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'No soul is affected by the sin of another.'''

ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بنو ثعلبہ ہیں جنہوں نے زمانہ جاہلیت میں فلاں کو قتل کیا تھا، لہٰذا آپ ہمارا بدلہ دلائیے، تو آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے یہاں تک کہ میں نے آپ کی بغل کی سفیدی دیکھی، آپ فرما رہے تھے: ”کسی ماں کا قصور کسی بیٹے پر نہیں ہو گا“ ایسا آپ نے دو مرتبہ کہا۔

It was narrated from Tariq and Muharibi that a manh said: O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah who killed so and so during the Jahiliyyah: avenger us! He raised his arms until the whiteness of his armpits could be seen and said: No mother's sin can affect her child, twice. (Shaih)
