رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو اذان دہری اور اقامت اکہری کہنے کا حکم دیا۔

It was narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded Bilal to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrasses of the Iqamah once.

عہدرسالت میں اذان دہری اور اقامت اکہری تھی، البتہ تم «قد قامت الصلاة، قد قامت الصلاة ‏»  ( دو بار ) کہو۔

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: At the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) the phrases of the Adhan were said twice and the phrases of the Iqamah were said once, except that you should I say: 'Qad Qamatis-Salah, Qad Qamatis-Salah (prayer is about to begin, prayer is about to begin).'
