سنن نسائ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  جس شخص نے جمعہ کے دن اپنے ساتھی سے کہا:  خاموش رہو  اور امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو تو اس نے لغو حرکت کی ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever says to his companion on Friday, when the imam is delivering the khutbah: 'Listen attentively,' has engaged in idle talk.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا:  جب تم اپنے ساتھ والے سے جمعہ کے دن کہو:  خاموش رہو  اور امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو تو تم نے لغو کام کیا ۔

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Qariz and Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab that: Abu Hurairah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'If you say to your companion: Listen attentively on a Friday when the Imam is delivering the khutbah, then you have engaged in idle talk.'
