سنن نسائ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سورج گرہن لگنے پر آٹھ رکوع، اور چار سجدوں کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی اور عطاء نے بھی ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم سے اسی کے مثل روایت کی ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Tawus from Ibn Abbas, that : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed when the sun was eclipsed, bowing eight times and prostrating four times.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گرہن لگنے پر نماز پڑھی، آپ نے قرآت کی، پھر رکوع کیا، پھر قرآت کی، پھر رکوع کیا، پھر قرآت کی، پھر رکوع کیا، پھر قرآت کی، پھر رکوع کیا، پھر سجدہ کیا، اور دوسری رکعت بھی ایسے ہی پڑھی۔

It was narrated from Tawus from Ibn Abbas that: The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed when there was an eclipse. He recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he prostrated, and he did the second rak'ahs in same fashion.
