سنن نسائ

انہوں نے وضو کیا، اور اپنے دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا، تو ان سے کہا گیا: کیا آپ مسح کرتے ہیں؟ اس پر انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو مسح کرتے دیکھا ہے۔

It was narrated from Jarir bin 'Abdullah that he performed Wudu' and wiped over his Khuffs. it was said to him: Are you wiping (over you Khuffs)? He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wiping (over his Khuffs). The companions of 'Abdullah liked what Jarir said, because Jarir became Muslim shortly before the Prophet (ﷺ) died.[1] [1]In the narration recorded by At-Tirmidhi Nos. 93,94) this comment is attributed to Ibrahim, one of the narrators.

انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ نے وضو کیا، اور دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا۔

It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah Ad-Damri that his father saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing Wudu' and wiping over his Khuffs.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اسواف ۱؎ میں داخل ہوئے، تو آپ قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے، پھر نکلے، اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ تو میں نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے دریافت کیا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا کیا؟ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا، چنانچہ اپنا چہرہ اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے، اور اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، اور دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا، پھر نماز ادا کی۔

It was narrated that Usamah bin Zaid said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Bilal entered Al-Aswaf [1] and he went to relieve himself and then came out. Usamah said: I asked Bilal: 'What did he do?' Bilal said: 'The Prophet (ﷺ) went to relieve himself, then he performed Wudu', so he washed his hands and face, and wiped his head and he wiped over his Khuffs, then prayed.'

آپ نے دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا۔

It was narrated from Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wiped over the Khuffs.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے موزوں پر مسح کے متعلق روایت کی ہے کہ اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔

It was narrated from Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), with regard to wiping over the Khuffs; There is nothing wrong with it.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قضائے حاجت کے لیے نکلے، جب آپ لوٹے تو میں ایک لوٹے میں پانی لے کر آپ سے ملا، اور میں نے  ( اسے )  آپ پر ڈالا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے، پھر اپنا چہرہ دھویا، پھر آپ اپنے دونوں بازو دھونے چلے تو جبہ تنگ پڑ گیا، تو آپ نے انہیں جبے کے نیچے سے نکالا اور انہیں دھویا، پھر اپنے دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا، پھر ہمیں نماز پڑھائی،  ( پھر ہمیں نماز پڑھائی  کا ٹکڑا صحیح نہیں ہے، جیسا کہ اوپر بیان ہوا ) ۔

It was narrated that Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah said: The Prophet (ﷺ) went out to relieve himself, and when he came back, I met him with a vessel (of water). I poured some for him and he washed his hands, then he washed his face. Then he wanted to wash his forearms but his Jubbah was too tight, so he brought them out from beneath the Jubbah to wash them, and he wiped over his Khuffs, then he led us in prayer.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قضائے حاجت کے لیے نکلے، مغیرہ ایک برتن لے کر جس میں پانی تھا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے پیچھے گئے، اور آپ پر پانی ڈالا، یہاں تک ۱؎ کہ آپ اپنی حاجت سے فارغ ہوئے، پھر وضو کیا، اور دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا ۲؎۔

It was narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out to relieve himself, and Al-Mughirah followed him, (carrying) a vessel of water. He poured water for him when he had finished relieving himself, and he performed Wudu' and wiped over his Khuffs.
