سنن ابوداؤد

انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ بیت المقدس کے سلسلے میں ہمیں حکم دیجئیے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم وہاں جاؤ اور اس میں نماز پڑھو ، اس زمانے میں ان شہروں میں لڑائی پھیلی ہوئی تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر تم وہاں نہ جا سکو اور نماز نہ پڑھ سکو تو تیل ہی بھیج دو کہ اس کی قندیلوں میں جلایا جا سکے ۔

Narrated Maymunah ibn Saad: I said: Messenger of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about (visiting) Bayt al-Muqaddas (the dome of the Rock at Jerusalem). The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: go and pray there. All the cities at that time were effected by war. If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps.

میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مسجد کی کنکریوں کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: ایک رات بارش ہوئی، زمین گیلی ہو گئی تو لوگ اپنے کپڑوں میں کنکریاں لا لا کر اپنے نیچے بچھانے لگے، جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھ چکے تو فرمایا: کتنا اچھا کام ہے یہ ۔

Abu al-Walid said: I asked Ibn Umar about the gravel spread pin the mosque. He replied: One night the rain fell and the earth was moistened. A man was bringing the gravel (broken stones) in his cloth and spreading it beneath him. When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم finished his prayer, he said: How fine it is!

کہا جاتا تھا: جب آدمی کنکریوں کو مسجد سے نکالتا ہے تو وہ اسے قسم دلاتی ہیں ( کہ ہمیں نہ نکالو ) ۔

Abu Salih said: It was said that when a man removed gravels from the mosque, they adjured him.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً روایت کی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کنکری اس شخص کو قسم دلاتی ہے جو اس کو مسجد سے نکالتا ہے ۔

Abu Hurairah reported (Abu Bakr said that in his opinion he narrated this tradition from the Prophet): The gravels adjure the person when removes them from the mosque.
