رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا کو اور انصار کی کچھ عورتوں کو جہاد میں لے جاتے تھے تاکہ وہ مجاہدین کو پانی پلائیں اور زخمیوں کا علاج کریں ۱؎۔
