سنن ابوداؤد

ایک عورت نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا: کیا حائضہ نماز کی قضاء کرے گی؟ تو اس پر آپ نے کہا: کیا تو حروریہ ہے ۱؎؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی موجودگی میں ہمیں حیض آتا تھا تو ہم نماز کی قضاء نہیں کرتے تھے اور نہ ہی ہمیں قضاء کا حکم دیا جاتا تھا۔

Muadhah reported: A woman asked Aishah: should a menstruating woman complete the prayer abandoned during the period of menses? Aishah said: Are you a Haruriyyah? During menstruation in the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم we would not complete (the abandoned prayers), nor were we commanded to complete them.

ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ ہمیں روزے کی قضاء کا حکم دیا جاتا تھا، نماز کی قضاء کا نہیں ۔

Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to me; Get me the mat from the mosque. I said ; I am menstruating. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then replied: Your menstruation is not in your hand.

ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ ہمیں روزے کی قضاء کا حکم دیا جاتا تھا، نماز کی قضاء کا نہیں ۔

This tradition has also been narrated through a different chain of the authority of Muadhah al-‘Adawiyyah from Aishah. This version adds; we were commanded to complete the (abandoned) fast, but were commanded to complete the (abandoned) prayer.

جب وہ بیوی سے شروع حیض میں جماع کرے، تو ایک دینار صدقہ کرے، اور جب خون بند ہو جانے پر اس سے جماع کرے، تو آدھا دینار صدقہ کرے۔

Ibn Abbas said: If one has intercourse in the beginning of the menses, (one should give) one dinar; in case one has intercourse towards the end of the menses, then half a dinar (should be given)

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب آدمی اپنی بیوی سے حالت حیض میں جماع کرے تو آدھا دینار صدقہ کرے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اور اسی طرح علی بن بذیمہ نے مقسم سے، انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرسلاً روایت کی ہے، اور اوزاعی نے یزید ابن ابی مالک سے، یزید نے عبدالحمید بن عبدالرحمٰن سے، عبدالحمید نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے انہیں دو خمس دینار صدقہ کرنے کا حکم فرمایا، اور یہ روایت معضل ہے۔

Ibn Abbas reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; when a man has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, he must give half a dinar in alms. Abu Dawud said; Ali bin Budhaimah reported similarly on the authority of Miqsam from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. Al-Awza’I narrated from Yazid bin Abi Malik, from Abd al-Hamid bin Abdur-Rahman from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم; He ordered him to give two fifth of a dinar in alms. But this is a chain where two narrators (Miqsam and Ibn Abbas) are missing.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی بیویوں سے حیض کی حالت میں مباشرت ( اختلاط و مساس ) کرتے تھے جب ان کے اوپر نصف رانوں تک یا دونوں گھٹنوں تک تہبند ہوتا جس سے وہ آڑ کئے ہوتیں۔

Maimunah said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would contact and embrace any of his wives while she was menstruating. She would wear the wrapper up to half the the thighs or cover her knees with it.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم میں سے کسی کو جب وہ حائضہ ہوتی ازار ( تہبند ) باندھنے کا حکم دیتے، پھر اس کا شوہر ۱؎ اس کے ساتھ سوتا، ایک بار راوی نے «يضاجعها» کے بجائے «يباشرها» کے الفاظ نقل کئے ہیں۔

Aishah said; When anyone amongst us (the wives of the Prophet) menstruated, the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم asked her to tie a waist wrapper (over her body) and then husband lay with her, or he (Shubah) said: embraced her.

میں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دونوں رات میں ایک کپڑے میں سوتے اور میں پورے طور سے حائضہ ہوتی، اگر میرے حیض کا کچھ خون آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( کے بدن ) کو لگ جاتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صرف اسی مقام کو دھو ڈالتے، اس سے زیادہ نہیں دھوتے، پھر اسی میں نماز پڑھتے، اور اگر اس میں سے کچھ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کپڑے کو لگ جاتا، تو آپ صرف اسی جگہ کو دھو لیتے، اس سے زیادہ نہیں دھوتے، پھر اسی میں نماز پڑھتے تھے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Khallas al-Hujari reported: Aishah said: I and the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to pass night in one (piece of) cloth (on me) while I menstruated profusely. If anything from me (i. e. blood) smeared him (i. e. his body), he would wash that spot and would not exceed it (in washing), then he would offer prayer with it.

ان کی پھوپھی نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ ہم میں سے ایک عورت کو حیض آتا ہے، اور اس کے اور اس کے شوہر کے پاس صرف ایک ہی بچھونا ہے ( ایسی صورت میں وہ حائضہ عورت کیا کرے؟ ) ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: میں تمہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا عمل بتاتی ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم گھر میں تشریف لائے اور اپنی نماز پڑھنے کی جگہ میں چلے گئے ( ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: مسجد سے مراد گھر کے اندر نماز کی جگہ مصلی ہے ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے نماز سے فارغ ہونے سے پہلے پہلے مجھے نیند آ گئی، ادھر آپ کو سردی نے ستایا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میرے قریب آ جاؤ ، تو میں نے کہا: میں حائضہ ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم اپنی ران کھولو ، میں نے اپنی رانیں کھول دیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا رخسار اور سینہ میری ران پر رکھ دیا، میں اوپر سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر جھک گئی، یہاں تک کہ آپ کو گرمی پہنچ گئی، اور سو گئے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Umarah ibn Ghurab said that his paternal aunt narrated to him that she asked Aishah: What if one of us menstruates and she and her husband have no bed except one? She replied: I relate to you what the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had done. One night he entered (upon me) while I was menstruating. He went to the place of his prayer, that is, to the place of prayer reserved (for this purpose) in his house. He did not return until I felt asleep heavily, and he felt pain from cold. And he said: Come near me. I said: I am menstruating. He said: Uncover your thighs. I, therefore, uncovered both of my thighs. Then he put his cheek and chest on my thighs and I lent upon he until he became warm and slept.

میں جب حائضہ ہوتی تو بچھونے سے چٹائی پر چلی آتی، اور ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے قریب نہ ہوتے، جب تک کہ ہم پاک نہ ہو جاتے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When I menstruated, I left the bed and lay on the reed-mat and did not approach or come near the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم until we were purified.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حائضہ سے جب کچھ کرنا چاہتے تو ان کی شرمگاہ پر ایک کپڑا ڈال دیتے تھے۔

Narrated One of the Wives of the Prophet: Ikrimah reported on the authority of one of the wives of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saying: When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم wanted to do something (i. e. kissing, embracing) with (his) menstruating wife, he would put a garment on her private part.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے حیض کی شدت میں ہمیں ازار ( تہبند ) باندھنے کا حکم فرماتے تھے پھر ہم سے مباشرت کرتے تھے، اور تم میں سے کون اپنی خواہش پر قابو پا سکتا ہے جیسا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنی خواہش پر قابو تھا؟ ۱؎۔

Aishah said; The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would ask us in the beginning of our menstruation to tie the waist-wrapper. Then he would embrace us. And who amongst you can have as much control over his desire as the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had over his desire?
