سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم کو تین اوقات میں نماز پڑھنے، اور مردوں کو دفن کرنے سے منع فرماتے تھے: ایک تو جب سورج نکل رہا ہو، اور دوسرے جب کہ ٹھیک دوپہر ہو، یہاں تک کہ زوال ہو جائے یعنی سورج ڈھل جائے، تیسرے جب کہ سورج ڈوبنے کے قریب ہو یہاں تک کہ ڈوب جائے ۱؎ ۔

‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said: “There are three times during the day when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade us to offer the funeral prayer or bury our dead: When the sun has fully risen (until it is higher up in the sky); when it is overhead at noon, until it has passed the meridian: and when it is starting to set until it has set.”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو رات میں دفن کیا، اور اس کی قبر کے پاس ( روشنی کے لیے ) چراغ جلایا ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) placed a man in his grave at night, and he lit a lamp in his grave.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنے مردوں کو رات میں دفن نہ کرو، مگر یہ کہ تم مجبور کر دئیے جاؤ ۱؎ ۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Do not bury your dead at night unless you are forced to.”

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنے مردوں کی نماز جنازہ رات اور دن میں جس وقت چاہو پڑھو ۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Offer the funeral prayer for your dead by night or by day.”
