سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کے پاس دو بیویاں ہوں اور ایک کو چھوڑ کر دوسری کی طرف مائل رہے، تو وہ قیامت کے دن اس حال میں آئے گا کہ اس کا ایک دھڑ گرا ہوا ہو گا ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever has two wives and favors one of them over the other, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with one of his sides leaning.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سفر کرتے تو اپنی بیویوں کے درمیان قرعہ اندازی کرتے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Aishah: that whenever the Messenger of Allah was to travel, he would cast lots among his wives.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی بیویوں کے درمیان باری مقرر کرتے، اور باری میں انصاف کرتے، پھر فرماتے تھے: اے اللہ! یہ میرا کام ہے جس کا میں مالک ہوں، لہٰذا تو مجھے اس معاملہ ( محبت کے معاملہ ) میں ملامت نہ کر جس کا تو مالک ہے، اور میں مالک نہیں ہوں ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah used to divide his time equally among his wives, then he would say 'O Allah, this is what I am doing with regard to that which is within my control, so do not hold me accountable for that which is under Your control and is beyond my control.'
