And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with [complete] destruction.
Aur jab hum kissi basti ki halakat ka irada ker letay hain to wahan kay khushaal logon ko ( kuch ) hukum detay hain aur woh uss basti mein khulli na-farmani kerney lagtay hain to unn per ( azab ) ki baat sabit hojati hai phir hum ussay tabah-o-barbad ker detay hain.
और जब हम किसी बस्ती को हलाक करना चाहते हैं तो उसके ख़ुश-ऐश लोगों को हुक्म देते हैं फिर वे उसमें नाफ़रमानी करते हैं, तब उन पर बात साबित हो जाती है फिर हम उस बस्ती को तबाह व बरबाद कर देते हैं।
And how many have We destroyed from the generations after Noah. And sufficient is your Lord, concerning the sins of His servants, as Acquainted and Seeing.
Hum ney nooh kay baad bhi boht si qomen halak kin aur tera rab apney bandon kay gunahon say kafi khabardaar aur khoob dekhney wala hai.
और नूह (अलै॰) के बाद हमने कितनी ही क़ौमें हलाक कर दीं, और आपका रब काफ़ी है अपने बंदों के गुनाहों को जानने के लिए (और) उनको देखने के लिए।
