سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معصیت ( گناہ ) میں نذر نہیں ہے، اور نہ اس میں نذر ہے جس کا آدمی مالک نہ ہو ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Imran bin Husain that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: [There is no vow to commit disobedience and] no vow concerning that which the son of Adam does not possess.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معصیت ( گناہ ) میں نذر نہیں ہے، اور ایسی نذر کا کفارہ قسم کا کفارہ ہے ۔

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is no vow to commit disobedience, and the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی اطاعت کی نذر مانی ہو وہ اس کی اطاعت کرے، اور جس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی نافرمانی کی نذر مانی ہو تو وہ اس کی نافرمانی نہ کرے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him.
