And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed each other's blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing.
Aur jab hum ney tum say wada liya kay aapas mein khoon na bahana ( qatal na kerna ) aur aapas walon ko jila watan na kerna tum ney iqrar kiya aur tum iss kay shahid banay.
और जब हमने तुमसे यह अहद लिया कि तुम अपनों का ख़ून न बहाओगे और अपने लोगों को अपनी बस्तियों से न निकालोगे, फिर तुमने इक़रार किया और तुम उसके गवाह हो।
O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while you witness [to their truth]?
Aey ehal-e-kitab tum ( ba wajood qaeel honey kay phir bhi ) daanista Allah ki aayaat ka kiyon kufur ker rahey ho?
ऐ अहले-किताब! तुम अल्लाह की निशानियों का क्यों इनकार करते हो; हालाँकि तुम गवाह हो।
