Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah , then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
Be-shak Allah Taalaa kay nazdeek deen islam hi hai aur ehal-e-kitab ney apney pass ilm aa janey kay baad aapas ki sirkashi aur hasad ki bina per hi ikhtilaf kiya hai aur Allah Taalaa ki aayaton kay sath jo bhi kufur keray Allah Taalaa uss ka jald hisab lenay wala hai.
(क़ाबिले-क़बूल) दीन तो अल्लाह के नज़दीक सिर्फ़ इस्लाम ही है, और अहले-किताब ने इख़्तिलाफ़ नहीं किया मगर बाद इसके कि उनको सही इल्म पहुँच चुका था आपस की ज़िद की वजह से, और जो कोई इनकार करे अल्लाह की आयतों का तो अल्लाह यक़ीनन जल्द हिसाब लेने वाला है।
And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord [postponing the penalty] until a specified time, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, those who were granted inheritance of the Scripture after them are, concerning it, in disquieting doubt.
Unn logon ney apnay pass ilm aajaney kay baad hi ikhtilaf kiya ( aur woh bhi ) bahami zidd behas say aur agar aap kay rab ki baat aik waqt-e-muqarrara tak kay liye pehlay hi say qarar paagaee hui na hoti to yaqeenan unn ka faisla ho chuka hota aur jinn logon ko unn kay baad kitab di gaee hai woh bhi uss ki taraf say uljhan walay shak mein paray huye hain.
उन्होंने तो परस्पर एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करने के उद्देश्य से इस के पश्चात विभेद किया कि उन के पास ज्ञान आ चुका था। और यदि तुम्हारे रब की ओर से एक नियत अवधि तक के लिए बात पहले निश्चित न हो चुकी होती तो उन के बीच फ़ैसला चुका दिया गया होता। किन्तु जो लोग उन के पश्चात किताब के वारिस हुए वे उस की ओर से एक उलझन में डाल देने वाले संदेह में पड़े हुए हैं
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
Aur hum ney unhen deen ki saaf saaf daleelen dein phir unhon ney apnay pass ilm kay phonch janey kay baad aapas ki zidd behas say hi ikhtilaf barpa ker dala yeh jinn jinn cheezon mein ikhtilaf ker rahey hain unn ka faisla qayamat walay din unn kay darmiyan ( khud ) tera rab keray ga.
और हम ने उन्हें इस मामले के विषय में स्पष्ट निशानियाँ प्रदान कीं। फिर जो भी विभेद उन्होंने किया, वह इस के पश्चात ही किया कि उन के पास ज्ञान आ चुका था और इस कारण कि वे परस्पर एक-दूसरे पर ज़्यादती करना चाहते थे। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा रब क़ियामत के दिन उन के बीच उन चीज़ों के बारे में फ़ैसला कर देगा, जिनमें वे परस्पर विभेद करते रहे हैं
