And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did.
Aur aik qafila aaya aur unhon ney apney pani laney walay ko bheja uss ney apna dol latkaya kehney laga waah waah khushi ki baat hai yeh to aik larka hai unhon ney issay maal-e-tijarat qarar dey ker chupa diya aur Allah Taalaa iss say ba khabar tha jo woh ker rahey thay.
और एक क़ाफ़िला आया तो उन्होंने अपना पानी भरने वाला भेजा, उसने अपना डोल लटकाया, उसने कहाः ख़ुश-ख़बरी हो! यह तो एक लड़का है और उसको तिजारत का माल समझ कर महफ़ूज़ कर लिया, और अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता था जो वे कर रहे थे।
And they sold him for a reduced price - a few dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little.
Aur unhon ney issay boht hi halki qeemat per ginti kay chand dirhamon per hi baich dala woh to yousuf kay baray mein boht hi bey raghbat thay.
और उन्होंने उसको थोड़ी-सी क़ीमत (यानी) चंद दिरहम के बदले बेच दिया, और वे उससे बे-रग़बत थे।
