And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [them] and a lesson for those who fear Allah .
Issay hum ney aglon pichlon kay liye ibrat ka sabab bana diya aur perhezgaron kay liye waaz-o-naseehat ka.
फिर हमने इसको इबरत बना दिया उन लोगों के लिए जो उस दौर में थे और उन लोगों के लिए जो उसके बाद आए, और उसमें हमने नसीहत रख दी डरने वालों के लिए।
[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah . And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
Chori kerney walay aurat aur mard kay haath kaat diya kero. Yeh badla hai uss ka jo enhon ney kiya azab Allah ki taraf say aur Allah Taalaa qooat aur hikmat wala hai.
और चोर मर्द और चोर औरत दोनों के हाथ काट दो, यह उनके करतूत का बदला है और अल्लाह की तरफ़ से इबरतनाक सज़ा, और अल्लाह ग़ालिब हिकमत वाला है।
