I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.
Mein ney to inn say aur kuch nahi kaha magar sirf wohi jo tu ney mujh say kehney ko farmaya tha kay tum Allah ki bandagi ikhtiyar kero jo mera bhi rab hai aur tumhara bhi rab hai. Mein inn per gawah raah jab tak inn mein raah. Phir jab tu ney mujh ko utha liya to tu hi inn per mutlaa raha. Aur tu her cheez ki poori khabar rakhta hai.
मैंने तो उन से वही बात कही जिसका आपने मुझे हुक्म दिया था, यह कि अल्लाह की इबादत करो जो मेरा भी रब है और तुम्हारा भी रब है, और मैं उन पर गवाह था जब उनके दरमियान था, फिर जब आपने मुझको उठा लिया तो आप ही उन पर निगराँ थे, और आप तो हर चीज़ पर गवाह हैं।
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."
Phir dard-e-zeh ussay aik khajoor kay tanay kay neechay ley aaya boli kaash! Mein iss say pehlay hi marr gaee hoti aur logon ki yaad say bhi bhooli bisri hojati.
अन्ततः प्रसव पीड़ा उसे एक खजूर के तने के पास ले आई। वह कहने लगी, "क्या ही अच्छा होता कि मैं इस से पहले ही मर जाती और भूली-बिसरी हो गई होती!"
