They said, "O Moses, either you throw [your staff], or we will be the ones to throw [first]."
Unn saahiron ney araz kiya aey musa! Khuwa aap daaliye aur ya hum hi daalen?
जादूगरों ने कहाः मूसा! या तो तुम (असा) डालो या हम डालने वाले बनते हैं।
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
Yahan tak kay sooraj doobney ki jagah phonch gaya aur ussay aik daldal kay chashmay mein ghuroob hota hua paya aur iss chashmay kay pass aik qom ko bhi paya hum ney farma diya kay aey zulqarnain! Ya to tu enhen takleef phonchaye ya inn kay baray mein tu koi behtareen ravish ikhtiyar keray.
यहाँ तक कि जब वह सूर्यास्त-स्थल तक पहुँचा तो उसे मटमैले काले पानी के एक स्रोत में डूबते हुए पाया और उस के निकट उसे एक क़ौम मिली। हम ने कहा, "ऐ ज़ुलक़रनैन! तुझे अधिकार है कि चाहे तकलीफ़ पहुँचाए और चाहे उन के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करे।"
They said, "O Moses, either you throw or we will be the first to throw."
Kehney lagay aey musa! Ya to tu pehlay daal ya hum pehlay dalney walay bann jayen.
वे बोले, "ऐ मूसा! या तो तुम फेंको या फिर हम पहले फेंकते हैं।"
