If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, you would have been touched for what you took by a great punishment.
Agar pehlay hi say Allah ki taraf say baat likhi hui na hoti to jo kuch tum ney liya hai iss baray mein tumhen koi bari saza hoti.
और अगर अल्लाह का लिखा हुआ पहले से मौजूद न होता तो जो तरीक़ा तुमने इख़्तियार किया है उसकी वजह से तुमको सख़्त अज़ाब पहुँच जाता।
And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment
Agar Allah Taalaa ka fazal-o-karam tum per duniya aur aakhirat mein na hota to yaqeenan tum ney jiss baat kay charchay shuroo ker rakhay thay iss baray mein tumhen boht bara azab phonchta.
यदि तुम पर दुनिया और आख़िरत में अल्लाह की उदार कृपा और उस की दयालुता न होती तो जिस बात में तुम पड़ गए उस के कारण तुम्हें एक बड़ी यातना आ लेती
