And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable manner. And Allah is [fully] Acquainted with what you do.
Tum mein say jo log fot ho jayen aur biwiyan chor jayen woh aurten apney aap ko chaar maheeney aur das ( din ) iddat mein rakhen phir jab muddat khatam ker len to jo achai kay sath woh apney liye keren uss mein tum per koi gunah nahi aur Allah Taalaa tumharay her amal say khabardar hai.
और तुम में से जो लोग मर जाएं और बीवियाँ छोड़ जाएं वे बीवियाँ अपने आपको चार महीने दस दिन तक इंतिज़ार में रखें, फिर जब वे अपनी मुद्दत को पहुँचें तो तुम पर कोई गुनाह नहीं इस बात का कि वे अपनी ज़ात के बारे में क़ायदे के मुवाफ़िक़ कुछ करें, और अल्लाह तुम्हारे कामों से पूरी तरह बाख़बर है।
And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - for their wives is a bequest: maintenance for one year without turning [them] out. But if they leave [of their own accord], then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable way. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
Jo log tum mein say fot hojayen aur biwiyan chor jayen woh waseeyat ker jayen kay unn ki biwiyan saal bhar tak faeeda uthayen unhen koi na nikalay haan agar woh khud nikal jayen to tum per iss mein koi gunah nahi jo woh apney liye achai say keren Allah Taalaa ghalib aur hakeem hai.
और तुम में से जो लोग वफ़ात पा जाएं और बीवियाँ छोड़ रहे हों, वे अपनी बीवियों के बारे में वसीयत कर दें कि एक साल तक उनको ख़र्च दिया जाए उन्हें घर से निकाले बग़ैर, फिर अगर वे ख़ुद से छोड़ दें तो उस बारे में जो कुछ वे अपनी ज़ात के मामले में दस्तूर के मुताबिक़ करें उसका तुम पर कोई इल्ज़ाम नहीं, और अल्लाह ज़बरदस्त है, हिकमत वाला है।
